Review: Organix "Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil" Shampoo/Conditioner

Hey Everyone,
Today I'm gonna be reviewing the Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner (what a mouthful!).   As you know I've recently dyed my hair so it really needs all the caring/nourishment it can get!
 Well about a month ago, I was browsing through the beauty aisle at Walmart and was drawn towards the Organix hairstyling products. I loved that all their products were Sulfate free, Paraben free & Safe for colour treated hair (score, score & SCORE!).

I picked out Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil bottles because of the hype that these types of oil get (lets be honest). Both bottles ran for $8.99. 

The shampoo/ conditioner claims to add shine to your hair while also making it soft and silky since the formulation contains Vitamin E and antioxidants. Sounds perfect doesn't it?...well not exactly.
I've used both of these products over 10 times and I hate them.


Let's start with the shampoo:  It smells amazing (fresh & herbal) , however it feel like no matter how much product I use my hair isn't getting any cleaner. Usually after I rinse my shampoo off, my hair feels lighter, yet after I use this shampoo my hair feels more dirty and "rougher".
The same goes for the conditioner.... No matter how much product I use, my hair is still tangled and almost feels like yarn after washing it. I've actually had to start mixing it in with my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner just to make my hair manageable when I style it.

The Only positive thing I can say it that it does make my hair LESS frizzy and adds some shine after I style it. However, that only last for 24 hours and then it starts to become dry and dull.

I had such high hopes for these products but I think its safe to say I would not recommend it to anyone...

Any Suggestions on which Shampoo/Conditioners I should try next?

All Black Everythin'...

Probably 99.9 % of my closet is made up of black clothes.  I can't get enough, black just makes me feel edgy & sleek!   In order to spice up a simple outfit I love adding accessories!

Hair Drama & Reveal!

Hey Everyone, 

So if you follow me on twitter then you would of known I got my hair "did" last week. Now I haven't posted any pictures or said anything about it since then because honestly I hated it!! 
I told my hairstylist that I wanted something new for summer & I mentioned brown and blondes. Well she convinced me that blonde highlights on the top layers were the  way to go, so needless to say I did it! 
After she washed my hair, I saw the big reveal & I was in complete shock- I hated it & could not believe what I had done! 

I honestly could not even look at myself in the mirror this past weekend, I though the colour was completely off, that the highlights were way to dramatic & that it did not suit me at all (of course everyone around me it didn't look bad) 

Well it wasn't until yesterday that I started warming up to it- It was the first day I washed my hair since I got it done & found that the brown started to fade a little so it helped the highlights blend in a little more.

 I  think the shock of going from red hair to blondish really got to me..but now I think a little change for the summer ain't all that bad :P

Down With Love

Let Me Share With You My....

Current LOVES 

1. I've been O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D with Revlon's "Super Lustrous" Lipstick! They are so amazing & I just can't get enough! The other day I was in Walmart for about 30 min switching all of them! The ones in the picture are Just Enough Buff, Temptress, Cha Cha Cherry & Peach Me (Left to Right) 

2. If you guys saw my latest video then you know I'm going to Miami in a week to visit family! I am super excited to be under the hot Florida sun & finally go to the beach! 

3. Here we go...guys, I have a serious addiction & I know you might be saying "We know Diana, you love Makeup & Clothes"- but no, I'm about to reveal another addiction & that is to....Chocolate & Candy! Seriously, I love, love, love it! I HAVE to have something sweet everyday otherwise I go crazy (..help :s) 

4. The Slatkin & co. candles are my favourite (You can buy them at Bath & Body Works)!  I am especially loving the Vanilla & Coconut one!  The bigs ones are really pricey ($20) so I usually only pick them up when they have a 2 for $25 sale! A Must have for relaxation! 

5. My last current love are wide-brim, flimsy hats! They are so glam & elegant. But, I haven't been able to find ones that I absolutely love, I've searched everywhere! MUST. HAVE. NOW! The ones in the picture are from Windsor Store, which you can get here & here, if you're interested in picking one up!                (& no i'm not sponsored by them) 

Current HATES

1. I have a love/hate relationship with this product. Seche Vite is the best top coat  I've ever used. It dries really quick, makes my polish last forever & leaves a really nice gloss....but it smells awful & it starts to get really thick when its about half way done, making it almost impossible to use. I feel like i'm in an abusive relationship with this product!! I love to hate you & I hate to love you *sigh* 

2. Let me just say that the weather in Toronto has been awful for the last couple of days! Thank goodness- Hallelujah! That the sun came out today because its been gloomy & rainy since forever- My eyes were aching when I saw the sun ! I need my summer weather back, thanks! 

3. Okay, so I've been going through a mascara crisis over the last few months. I like to think of my eyelashes as "special" because no matter what I do, I can't get them to look voluminous & full! If you guys have any suggestions or have a holy grail mascara that I need to try please tell me! I need YOUR HELP! 

4. My last hate these hideous shoes that decided to come back in style this season- CLOGS! I just think they are awful- they make you look like you've gain weight & make your legs look shorter. I mean I'm all for personal style & following the latest trends but I have yet to see someone who rocks these shoes in a way that makes me say "Hey! I NEED those!".

Date Night ♥

Here's my date night outfit from last night- I went for something casual but also a little sexy. I think a perfect way to dress up a casual outfit is by adding some heels or a cute hand bag. You guys won't even believe how much I love these nude heels! 
They make your legs look longer & the best part, they were only $39.99! (*faint*) 

As you can see I'm not that big on jewellery (Probably because I'm too lazy to put anything on :p) - but I always have to wear a watch and a ring on each finger!

Life's A Beach!

Yesterday, Josh & I headed to the Beaches- which is a gorgeous neighbourhood in Downtown Toronto surrounded by great restaurants and cute little shops! 

How Awesome is this Owl?

We went to one of our favourite restaurants called the Green Eggplant, which btw has the biggest, most delicious drinks ever! (I highly recommend the mango colada or the raspberry..yum)

I've decided that since I can't make outfit of the day videos regularly, I'm going to start posting pictures of my outfit here! I've officially hired Josh as my photographer :P
